The Palta III boasts a Torayca carbon fiber frame, with a Medium frame weighing just 970 grams. Basso claims an 18% reduction in frontal aerodynamic impact area, thanks to optimized tube shapes. Stiffness has been increased in the bottom bracket and rear triangles, while headtube stiffness has been decreased to enhance vibration damping over rough terrain.
The bike accommodates up to 52mm tires in the front and 50mm at the rear, with stock bikes featuring 45mm Continental and Pirelli tires.
